On edge 뜻 :   한) 불안하다, 초조하다, 예민하다 영) not relaxed, nervous, anxious, edgy.

Born with a silver spoon in mouth뜻:   한) 금수저, 금수저를 물고 태어난 영) wealth, especially inherited wealth; someone born into a wealthy family.

 

뒤에 오늘 밤, 내일 밤, 주말, 다음주 목요일 등등 뭘 넣느냐에 따라 묻는 목적이 다양해집니다.

예를 들어 “what are you up to tonight?” = “오늘 밤 뭐해?”

“What are you up to next Thursday?” = “다음주 목요일에 뭐해?” 가 되는 것이죠.

뜻: “젊은이 뭐해? 대답 잘 해야될거야”

 

수상하게 여긴 제 친구의 이웃이 신고를 한 것입니다. 아실지는 모르겠지만 LA쪽 치안이 많이 안 좋습니다.

같은 what are you up to인데 그 느낌이 참 다르죠?
